Merchant Terms of Service

1. Platform Services & Scope
ForToi provides an online platform that enables independent food and beverage merchants to receive customer orders for local pickup. ForToi is not a party to the transactions between merchants and customers.
2. Fee Structure & Payment Processing
Merchants must link their own Stripe Connect Standard account to clear transactions. ForToi charges a platform fee of 2.0% calculated on the net payout volume. This fee is automatically deducted after standard credit card processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction) have been cleared by Stripe.
3. Taxes & Local Regulatory Compliance
In accordance with Quebec's sales tax regulations, merchants are responsible for manually entering incoming orders into their local point-of-sale (POS/MEV) cash registers, printing fiscal tax receipts, and collecting and filing all applicable sales taxes (GST/QST/HST).
4. Account Termination & Data Erasure
In compliance with Quebec's Law 25, you may request the complete deletion of your merchant profile and order configurations at any time by contacting privacy@fortoi.com. Accounts can be terminated at any time without penalty.
